Glove Care

How to take care of your Best9 batting gloves

  • Dry the gloves after each use. It’s very important to air them out (outside of the bag and in the shade) after games, practices, and especially BP (batting practice).
  • Do not use BEST9 gloves in the rain. Like any genuine leather product, getting them wet will weaken the leather, making it prone to tears and slippery.
  • Moisturize periodically. Our gloves are made from 100% leather, so moisturizing them regularly will help keep the leather soft and flexible. We recommend using a good balm to it.
  • Do not expose the gloves to direct sunlight for extended periods. The sun can dehydrate the leather, causing it to dry out, harden, and become prone to tears.
  • Do not submerge the gloves in water or use a washing machine.
  • If the gloves get wet in the rain, remove the excess water and then let them dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
  • Do not use any means to speed up the drying process, such as a hair dryer or a clothes dryer.
  • Do not use chemical products to clean the gloves. Chemicals can damage and potentially remove the color of the leather.
  • Clean them with a slightly damp cloth, just to wipe the leather surface.
